Committed to Helping Our Communities Prosper

Through our commitment to volunteerism, philanthropy, outreach and education, Landmark Bank is making a difference in our communities.

Working Together for a Stronger Future

For more than 150 years, Landmark Bank has been committed to taking care of our communities through civic leadership, financial contributions, outreach and volunteer service. Being a family-owned bank, we place great emphasis on caring for the families of our communities — but we don’t do it alone. Our dedicated employees devote much time and effort to working with local community members, schools and businesses, helping them achieve their dreams and create a stronger future.

As a community leader, we feel it’s our responsibility to contribute to the economic vitality of our area. Whether it’s supporting local charities, sponsoring fundraising events, or contributing to community efforts, our goal is simple: Give back to the communities and to the people we serve.

Community Service and Giving

Our bankers are your neighbors. Most of them grew up here. All are devoted to making our communities a better place to live. Individually, our bankers donate their time and money to our local community organizations, churches, food pantries, schools, and youth clubs and teams.

Columbia, Missouri, Outreach

In 1984, Landmark Bank was one of the first businesses in town to partner with one of Columbia's schools as a Partner in Education. At Blue Ridge Elementary School, bankers serve as mentors for students, classroom readers and expert advisors for the children's Mustang Bank. Our bank also sponsors an annual BBQ as a reward for students exhibiting good work ethic and behavior.

Landmark Bank holds a special place for the arts, as evidenced by sponsorship of the University Concert Series, Museum of Art and Archaeology and the True/False Film Festival, the area's premier independent film exhibit.

Landmark bankers serve on the board of directors for many community organizations in Columbia, including the Chamber of Commerce, Women’s Council of Realtors, United Way, Rotary Clubs, Columbia Public Library, Job Point, Cancer Research Center, Meals on Wheels, Boy Scouts of America and the Voluntary Action Center.

The Columbia Landmark team is consistently recognized as a Pacesetter for United Way. Our team also coordinates monthly fundraising efforts to support various local community organizations, and the money raised is matched by the bank.

Additionally, Landmark employees may contribute a portion of their paycheck each month to the Staff Charitable Fund, which donates money to worthy organizations such as the American Cancer Society, Children's Miracle Network, Central Missouri Humane Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Rainbow House.
