Houston, MO - July 2, 2012
As part of the Celebration of National Homeownership Month, USDA Rural Development presented a Certificate of Appreciation to Shannon Sanders and Kay Jordan of Landmark Bank’s Real Estate Lending Team in Houston for their participation in the Guaranteed Rural Housing Program.
A Guaranteed Loan is an option for those applicants whose income exceeds the 502 direct program guidelines. Applicants make an application with a participating lender such as Landmark Bank. The lender originates loans, processes applications and submits the loans to USDA Rural Development for a commitment to guarantee the loan to the lender. Loans are made up to 102% of the dwelling appraised value. There is no down payment and it’s a 30-year fixed rate mortgage. Adjusted income limits for most counties in South Central Missouri are $74,750 for a 1 to 4 person household and $98,670 for a 5 to 8 person household.
